The Fieldcraft Camp is our latest addition to the Fall'19 Lineup and expands our knife series "BE-X Shortcut" with a flat-grind campknife.
In developing the Fieldcraft Camp, we have focused on creating a rugged, robust knife for all tasks, from firewood to food preparation.
The 34mm wide blade tapers towards the tip and allows, despite the blade back of a maximum of 4mm, a clean cut for all materials to cut.
The 130mm ground cutting surface can be fully utilized, the bevel is very robust due to the minimal bevel!
With a hardness of approx 58HC, the stain reistant 440C blade steel is very easy to sharp and retains a good edge.
The handle, borrowings its shape from the Hersir, fits comfortably in the hand during all work and is equipped with thumb recesses (left and right) for optimum grip in every hand position.
For the Camp we also opted for full tang construction, which leads to high stability. The longer tang at the end of the handle can be used as a hammer / striking surface. Also available is a hole for a lanyard!
The folded kydex sheath is closed with five rivets and has a screwed-on belt loop (right-handed), which is removable! The knife automatically locks in place in the sheath!
The knife comes with a firesteel with milled aluminum handle and a firesteel holder made from Kydex, including all mounting hardware!
(For mounting a standard Phillips screwdriver is needed)
The Fieldcraft Camp comes in a natural cartonage, with a firesteel and belt loop.
