The Archer headset system consists of the headset and the matching PTT unit. The Archer set is based on well known military headsets, but expands them to include ambidextrous use. Headset and PTT unit are compatible with Z-Tactical, but unfortunately not with Earmor!
The headset is a passive mono headset, it rests on one ear only and does not require its own power supply. This makes it ideal as a general purpose headset that is always ready for use.
The open-case design means the headset has minimal to no effect on spatial hearing, making it ideal for snipers
The headband can be easily mounted and adjusted via Velcro, the microphone boom can be changed from left to right with a knurled screw, even without tools, making the headset universally usable, whether under a helmet or boonie, over a cap or balaclava, or without headgear.
