This HopUp Chamber fits in S&T / Ares models,
for the Begadi Sport G60 / Cyma (S)AEG models we offer a separate version (GCY, part number 18520002). This version (GST) is also suitable for the UMP models manufactured by S&T
The GST (S&T) as well as the GCY (Cyma) is a completely new developed HopUp Unit for G36 models. The unit is made of CNC machined aluminum with very low tolerances. Both versions can be installed and used in the respective weapon without any adjustments.
Compared to conventional G36 units, large tensioners can be used here. This increases the range and the possible bullet weight enormously.
Three different tensioners are included in the scope of delivery:
- Round receiver for commercially available tensioners made of rubber or silicone (maximum possible length: 5.5mm)
- Aluminum with radius and a length of 4mm for common AEG barrels
- Aluminum with radius and a length of 5,5mm for AEG barrels with large window (e.g. TNT)
The width of each tensioner is 6mm, covering the entire HopUp window. The radius of the two aluminum tensioners maintains the shape of the HopUp rubber as well as the inner surface, which is good for BB centering.
All three tensioners are guided and held straight in the unit, this ensures an even pressure on the HopUp rubber.
The adjustment runs on a CNC-machined aluminum adjustment wheel, this ensures a stepless and fine gradation of the HopUp. About the applied Scalar the current position is always visible and quickly found again after maintenance.
To avoid feeding problems, there is a BB latch made of Delrin in the upper area, this holds the following BB firmly in the unit to prevent slipping.
In both versions (GST and GCY) we recommend to use a Nozzle length of 24,50 to 25,20mm. Please note that the necessary length may vary slightly depending on the HopUp rubber used. For all common HopUp rubbers from Maple Leaf, TNT, SLONG we recommend the original length of 25.00mm
