The ASTER is the latest optical EFC system with Mosfet from GATE. Like its big brother, the GATE TITAN, the ASTER also works with optical sensors to prevent mechanical damage or wear.
Compared to the TITAN, the ASTER has some new and revised functions. For example, infinite torque up gears are now possible, since the sensor no longer counts the teeth of the sector gear but uses the control cam. The mechanical safety can still be used and it is now also possible to configure some settings directly via the trigger. A very helpful RGB LED has been added here, which makes setting via colors possible. The Mosfet chip has also been revised and is now in the 4th generation.
The ASTER has a total of 5 optical sensors for trigger, cycle monitoring and selector plate position.
Features:
- always stops the gearbox perfectly after a clean cycle
- is protected against short circuits, overheating and overvoltage
- Protects the battery against deep discharge (adjustable)
- Warns when battery voltage is low (adjustable)
- improves current flow, firing rate and durability of spring and gearbox (when precocking is disabled)

Setting via GATE Control Station:
At the current time (August 2019), the ASTER is only compatible with the Android version of the GATE Control Station app. The Windows version is scheduled to get an update in the fall, and the iOS version is scheduled to follow in the winter.
For the BASIC version, you will need the GATE USB LINK adapter and a USB cable to use the software
ATTENTION : The Mosfet will be delivered in the international version if not chosen otherwise. This means the possession is allowed in the FRG, but the installation is only allowed with a 0,5J Airsoft! Please select the Semi-Only option above to get the software adapted for Germany

Installation of this item requires expertise and should not be underestimated in terms of effort. Damage etc. due to installation errors are not covered by warranty.

Note: Due to the optical sensors, do not apply too much lubricant to the gears in this system. We recommend applying a thin layer of grease with a brush. If there are problems after a few shots, please check that the sensors are clean and not covered with grease.
