The Begadi CP1 safety spectacles
Designed and certified in Germany!

The CP1 is certified as PPE according to EN166B. Glass and frame were fired at 120m/s with a 0.86g steel ball. This corresponds to 6.19 joules!

The CP1 is our first self-designed and EU-certified goggle that has been specially developed for airsoft sports. A lot of time and long test phases went into the goggles in order to optimize them down to the smallest detail. The result is a goggle concept that leaves nothing to be desired. This also includes a comprehensive and well thought-out range of accessories!

The goggles consist of several components, the frame made of thermoplastic urethane (TPU) and the lens made of polycarbonate, with a second layer of cellulose plastic to greatly reduce fogging of the lens and a headband / adapter for Begadi FAST helmets.

The TPU frame contains many ventilation openings, which are designed as channels to allow as much fresh air as possible to circulate during movement, which also greatly reduces fogging of the lens.

An adapter for action cameras can be mounted on the goggles (optional accessory) and there are recesses with neodymium magnets under the goggles for easy mounting of a protective shield.

Safety was an important factor for us, both on and off the pitch. That's why we had the goggles and the frame certified by a German testing institute as fully-fledged PPE (personal protective equipment) in accordance with EN166B.

This means that the CP1 is approved as protective eyewear up to a direct impact load of 6 joules at close range. As they are not certified to Bundeswehr or NATO standards, but to EU specifications, the goggles can be used throughout the EU as officially approved eye protection (PPE).

Ergonomics for spectacle wearers was also particularly important to us. In addition to the option of fitting a corrective insert, available from us, in the CP1, the CP1 is also optimized for spectacle wearers.

Flat, close-fitting glasses can be used with both lens versions (normal and RX), although the RX version offers better ergonomics.

Both lens versions have a cut-out in the frame for the temples, which prevents the formation of pressure points.
The RX version offers significantly more space in the frame, making it suitable for numerous spectacle models. We recommend that spectacle wearers always choose the RX version!

In addition, every lens is available as a replacement, including the dark smoke version! We have tested the goggles with most common helmets, starting with the Begadi FAST helmet, but also with other helmets such as the MICH/PASGT system and the MICH 2001 (if the action camera is fitted, helmets can no longer be worn).

The CP1 is supplied with the frame, a goggle lens and a headband (this is already fitted). In addition, each pair of goggles comes with a set of replacement pads and a mounting set for FAST helmets, which can be replaced with the normal headband if required.
Each complete set is delivered in a sturdy cardboard box. A black storage bag with carrying strap and an extra compartment for interchangeable lenses is also included in every set!

An extensive range of accessories is available for the CP1:
A protective shield (in 2 sizes and 3 colors) is attached to the goggles using magnets, a holder for action cams allows mounting directly on the goggles and interchangeable lenses in light and dark, flat and RX shape.
Replacement screws & straps and an RX adapter are also available.
