The Forest Walker Suit was born from the idea of a long anorak, in the style of the alpine, sniper and hunter anoraks of the 30s and 40s. It was important to us to create an anorak that combines the utmost in protection, flexibility and storage with total freedom of movement. For reasons of ergonomics, the original version of water-repellent cotton fabric gave way to the current version of roughened, textured softshell fabric.
The softshell fabric is characterized by low weight and almost silent grip, but is highly water-repellent and breathable! By getting rid of hook and loop tape, all sources of noise were reduced to a minimum. Unusual for a softshell: Almost all important seams are additionally weld-taped!
The Anorak has 7 spacious pockets:
- two arm pockets (which can hold up to 2 M4 magazines)
- two big stash pockets
- a large breast pocket with horizontal access (L / R)
- a large breast pocket with vertical access and cover
- a large back pocket, in which also a seat pad can be inserted
The generously proportioned hood with shield allows wearing headgear, but can also be adjusted without. The high-closing collar allows both generous ventilation and a reliable wind protection!
The suit is ideal as a basic sniper suit, as it avoids any danger of snagging due its cut and the pockets can be reached while wearing a sniper suit / ghillie. In addition, padding can be inserted into the jacket, which facilitate the low movement and lying in an overwatch.
But the Forest Walker is also an ideal suit for hunting and outdoor, in cold and humid weather!
The suit is cut baggy and comfortably!
