The TBDU "Multipocket" trousers are our new tactical trousers, which are the result of our experience with and feedback on the TBDU trousers! As with all items in the FronTier One series, it was important to us that the happy medium in the price range is not achieved by cutting corners on quality, be it material or workmanship. The trousers correspond 1:1 to the quality standards we set for FronTier One clothing!
The comfortably cut trousers have two side pockets and two newly designed, flatter back pockets, which are now closed with a zipper. The two large leg pockets with expansion pleat have been moved back slightly to ensure a better distribution of the center of gravity.
The two patch front pockets on the trousers are completely new; they are fastened with Velcro and closed with a Canadian-style button. A special feature of these Pouches is the tunnel - a tunnel closed with Velcro runs under both Pouches, which allows straps from Holsters, subloads or climbing harnesses to be passed through. This means that the Pouch and its contents are always ready to hand!
The lower leg pocket for the first aid kit and the double knee area remain unchanged. Commercially available knee pads can be inserted here and fixed in place using the two redesigned fins / wings and Velcro fasteners. A snow skirt made of breathable, water-repellent polyester keeps out dirt and creepy-crawlies such as ticks!
Another new addition is a Cordura reinforcement on the side pockets to prevent the Pouch from chafing with the clip when carrying EDC equipment (flashlight, knife, multitool).
Of course, the waistband is fully adjustable again, as with all FronTier One pants! As requested by many customers, the metal button on the trousers has been replaced by a Velcro fastener!
 Info on material and flecktarn:The fabric we use for this clothing is 65% polyester and 35% cotton, a mixture that has also proven itself in the field clothing of the German Armed Forces. Polyester is UV-stable and dries very quickly, but the 35% cotton means that the fabric is still comfortable to wear. The camouflage print, 5 colors (aka "Flecktarn") is high quality, but not according to TL, as a TL requires a procurement measure of the BW. Also, "according to TL" no ripstop fabric would be usable, which makes the fabric light and robust. Here we exceed the specifications of the German Armed Forces. However, the clothing is not IRR certified!Care instructions: We recommend washing the clothing inside out at 30°C, with little soap and without fabric softener! |
