The Plate Carrier Assault Pack (or AP) is a lightweight and versatile backpack made from 500D nylon with 2 compartments and MOLLE, manufactured to our specifications. Our goal was to produce gear for AIRSOFT players at a fair price/performance ratio without sacrificing material and workmanship. We did without a few nice-to-have features that didn't seem essential to us, but instead we used high-quality material
Therefore, we rely on 500D nylon with a PU coating, instead of less stable polyester. We use very robust webbing, high quality Velcro closures and buckles and all seams are reinforced with bars. Also in the color scheme and camouflage printing we have paid attention to quality.
The backpack holds about 15 liters and has a large main compartment and a spacious front compartment that can be expanded with MOLLE pockets. The main compartment is big enough for a jacket and some small stuff, drinks or other equipment.
The main compartment is big enough for a HPA bottle and other gear (like ammo, tools or magazines), through the 3 passages for (drinking) hoses and cables the HPA hose can easily be routed to the outside!
The front compartment closed with zippers is ideal for the equipment that you want to get to quickly. The main compartment can also be expanded with MOLLE pockets! It is large enough for a mission ration, batteries, snack, tools or a first aid kit. It has no dividers to keep the bag neatly organized.
The main compartment offers a large Velcro pocket, for patches, name tags and markers and also closes with a sturdy, covered zipper
There are two rows of loops on the bottom to strap other gear to, as well as two drainage holes for water. On each side are 4 double rows of MOLLE loops, for additional pockets or gear. A shallow, externally accessible pocket on the back can be used for an optional stiffener or hydration bladder
The Plate Carrier Assault Pack can, as the name suggests, be mounted directly on a plate carrier using MOLLE/PALS, for which the backpack straps can be removed. Alternatively, it can also be converted to a standalone backpack in a few simple steps. The shoulder straps are unpadded, but wide and have proven to be very comfortable in our tests!
