BB Limiter for Begadi PRO AR15 Midcap Magazines
Other interesting articles:
The BB limiter occupies part of the bullet channel inside the magazine and thus reduces the maximum capacity of the magazine.
The limiter is made of flexible TPU plastic and includes the spring guide (see below) and the limit area, which is divided into 17 segments for easier handling / adjustment.
At the front segment, the limiter has a Springguide (specially adapted for the magazine) so that the Spring continues to wind up cleanly in the new position and there are no feeding problems, damage or fatigue. All 17 segments following the spring guide are separated by a cut edge and numbered from A to Q.
If you now want to limit the magazine by a certain number (see table) of BBs, proceed as follows
Each of the marked segments reduces the maximum capacity by approx. 6 - 7 BBs, at the same time the Spring must be shortened by 4.5cm for each segment.
Example: If you want to reduce the capacity from 150 BBs to 100 BBs, install the Springguide with a total of 8 segments. Cut the limiter at this position with a sharp knife. As we now have 8 segments, we shorten the untensioned Spring of the magazine by approx. 36 cm (8 x 4.5 cm).
The total length of the Spring when new is 100cm. If you install the limiter completely (all segments, capacity in the magazine = 30 BBs), the Spring must still be approx. 24cm long (17 segments x 4.5cm = shorten by 76.5cm). You do NOT have to shorten the Spring to the exact millimeter.
When calculating the total capacity, also take into account that, depending on the airsoft model, 3 - 4 BBs remain unusable in the feed tube of the HopUp Unit.
The original Springguide of the magazine continues to be used in its full length and does not need to be modified
Please note: Once cut, the segments cannot be reattached!
