The Lightweight Plate Carrier (or LPC) is a simple plate carrier in the style of the well-known "Kandahar Plate Carrier" and comes without a cummerbund. Our goal was to produce equipment for AIRSOFT players at a fair price-performance ratio without compromising on material and workmanship. We have dispensed with a few nice-to-have features that we didn't consider essential, but have instead opted for high-quality materials
That's why we use 500D nylon with a waterproof PU coating instead of less robust polyester. We use very robust webbing, high-quality Velcro fasteners and clasps and all seams are reinforced with bartacks. We have also paid attention to quality when it comes to coloring and camouflage printing.
With its minimalist cummerbund, the LPC is the UPC's little brother. It is just as well made as its big brother, but without the cummerbund and admin panel. It is fully equipped with MOLLE loops and can be extended as required
It was very important to us to put together a kit that was both good value and good quality. While we left out certain features, ergonomics and out-of-the-box playability were very important to us. That's why we deliver each plate carrier with two moldable, very good dummy plates made of hard foam. Also included is a removable, Velcro-closed Tripple-Mag Pouch, which can hold up to 6 magazines of the MP5 or M4 family or 3 thicker magazines, such as G36, AK, M14 and AUG. The magazines are held taut by an elastic band!
In addition, each plate carrier comes with 6 Velcro spacer pads made of a coarse-meshed and flexible endless fabric. These pads, which are enclosed in coarse mesh, are difficult to compress despite their flexibility. They keep the plate carrier at a distance from the body and promote air circulation. The pads can also be removed when not in use
In addition to the pads, light padding is firmly sewn in. A carrying handle and MOLLE loops for extensions are available on the back. The back plate is equipped with an exit for cables and hoses, which is easily pre-cut and can be easily extended if required, through which radio cables or drinking hoses can be routed
The LPC is the ideal secondary plate carrier, the basis for multi-part systems in combination with a battlebelt or for PMC outfits. Thanks to its great adjustability, it can also be worn over soft ballistic vests! However, we must emphasize that, despite its quality, we do not recommend it for official use, especially IRR and FRR values have not been tested!

The sizes of the plate carriers are infinitely adjustable at the sides and shoulders, but the front and back are fixed by the SAPI plate. As the SAPI plates are proportional in size, M to XL differ both in the height of the plate carrier and in the width.
This means that a slim but tall person may reach for M, but a shorter but stockier person would be better served by XL. To make the decision easier for you, we have collected a selection of recommendations and practical experience.
