This revised version is based on the PTW version 2012 and contains many improvements to the previous version of the A&K PTW in terms of the durability of the mechanical parts and electronics: more durable stainless steel Cylinders, bolt catch mechanism with magnet and completely revised electronics that work reliably, as well as a revised HopUp Unit, which ensures uncomplicated and user-friendly maintenance through the use of AEG HopUp rubbers.
The A&K STW models thus become a high-quality, reliable and significantly more cost-effective alternative to the PTW models with all the advantages of the PTW system: fast response, easy changing of Cylinders, true M4 dimensions and a bolt mechanism that stops the airsoft as soon as the last BB has been fired.

- Outer Barrel, Dust Cover, Forward Assist Knob & Pins made of steel
- Other metal parts made of die-cast aluminum

Please note:
Systema/FCC compatible tuning barrels no longer fit in the HopUp unit! However, complete Systema / FCC Barrels / Barrel combinations still fit in the system. The new Barrel / HopUp combination now uses regular AEG HopUp rubbers, but a special Innerbarrel! AEG tuning barrels do not fit!
