Burst Mode Information:
Set the gun to "AUTO" and pull the trigger only briefly, this will fire a 3 shot burst, hold the trigger down and full auto mode is active
Battery & Wiring Info:
In this version of the SMG MOD5, the battery is inserted above the gearbox and wired to the front. To insert it, the rear plate must be removed using the two pins. Then the battery can be inserted with the connector facing forward. The battery is connected to the weapon by removing the handguard (release pin). We show this in more detail in a video below
Additional information about the use of 11.1V Lipo batteries:
With this model, we can recommend -no- 11.1V batteries without hesitation. Technically the use is no problem, but the space inside the Mod 5K is not optimal. The batteries with the part numbers15918012 & 15922002 can be inserted with effort, but it is so tight that the batteries and cables can be crushed / damaged if inserted carelessly. The subsequent removal of these batteries is also complicated due to the narrow tolerances. We therefore advise against this. If you attach a battery outside, for example using a PEQ box, 11.1 V batteries can be used without any problems.
Tip / Note / Modification in the HopUp area:
The adjustment slider on the standard HopUp unit of this model is very smooth-running ex works.
If necessary / desired, this can be modified in just a few steps.
Separate the upper and lower from each other and remove the HopUp unit together with the barrel. To make the adjustment slide smoother, loosen the screw that presses the adjustment slide against the HopUp Unit (see picture below). Underlay this screw with an O-ring or a shim washer. When you tighten the screw again, more pressure is built up and the adjustment slider is more sluggish. If you don't have an O-ring or shim washer at hand, you can alternatively shorten the cylinder in which the screw engages minimally with a file.
Storage information:
Always disconnect the battery from the gun when it is not in use! Otherwise, your battery can be discharged by the continuous monitoring and thus take damage
