This revised version is based on the 2012 PTW version and contains many improvements to the previous version of the A&K PTW in terms of durability of the mechanical parts and electronics: more durable stainless steel cylinders, boltcatch mechanism with magnet and a completely revised electronics that works reliably, as well as a revised Hop Up Unit, which provides for uncomplicated and user-friendly maintenance by using AEG HopUp rubbers.
This makes the A&K STW models a high quality, reliable and much more cost effective alternative to the PTW models with all the advantages that the PTW system brings: fast response, easy cylinder change, true M4 dimensions and a bolt mechanism that stops the airsoft as soon as the last BB is fired.
