Begadi PRO CNC Rotary HopUp Unit incl. Cylinderhead for A&K SVD Spring Pressure Version
Manufacturing and development:
This HopUp Unit has been specially developed for the A&K SVD (spring pressure) and allows the change to the VSR system.
As usual with our Begadi PRO series, all components of the unit are CNC machined to a maximum tolerance of 0.05mm. After production, the parts are visually inspected to ensure that there are no internal defects. They are then laser checked for dimensional accuracy and securely packaged.
VSR System:
Compared to the original SVD HopUp Unit which uses the AEG system, we use the VSR system.
This means that all VSR HopUp rubbers can be used, which are more suitable for heavy BBs.
We recommend our VSR5 or VSR7 HopUp rubber from a BB weight of 0.30g+.
Please note that the side nose of the VSR rubbers must be removed with a sharp knife before mounting. The included tensioner can be used for both systems (5mm or 7mm).
Precise adjustment of the HopUp:
The HopUp effect can be precisely adjusted via the finely graduated adjustment wheel with position indication. This leads to significantly more consistent shooting results. With the built-in O-ring, an adjustment due to vibrations is not possible. The surface of the adjustment wheel has a very good grip, so it can be adjusted even with dirty gloves.
Cylinderhead:
To improve the seal to VSR HopUp rubbers, we include a matching cylinder head with the delivery.
This was also CNC machined and specially adapted to the VSR system.
Please note: For the original piston a Sorbo pad must be used! Alternatively we recommend to use our Begadi PRO CNC Piston.
Inner Barrel Compatibility:
All VSR or Hybrid (AEG/VSR) barrels with and without bridge can be used.
We recommend e.g. PPS FX5 / FX7 or DaVinci Akaishi 60 / 70

- 1x CNC Adjustment wheel made of 7075 aluminum with position indication
- 1x CNC Tensioner made of aluminum (rounded)
- 1x CNC C-Clip made of aluminum
- 1x CNC Cylinderhead (suitable for VSR HopUp rubbers)
- 1x O-Ring for Cylinderhead
- 1x O-Ring for C-Clip
- 1x O-Ring for Outer Barrel
- 1x brass ring for Inner Barrel
- 2x grub screw
- 1x spring for ball
- 1x ball
Please note: if the barrel centering ring cannot be slid onto the barrel or can only be slid onto the barrel with difficulty, then this can be ground out minimally / slightly on the inside for a good fit.
This is the case for barrels with an outer diameter of 8.55mm, normal barrels with 8.50mm fit without adjustment
